Face Dancing or Planking

I have come to be known as one of the fathers of modern planking. While in high school, my friend, Scott Amy, and I came up with the idea of publicly lying face down on the ground with our hands at our sides, in an effort to make absolutely no sense. We called it “Face Dancing, and many of our friends participated in this, and later it was brought to Europe. This was the beginning of what later became the international fad called planking. The video below was made by the Dutch Filmmakers Barham Sadeghi and Dikla Ziedler for the Museum of the Image.
